The main difference between us and them is celebrities spend hours, even days preparing for Halloween parties, making sure that every detail is in place. Here are some of the costumes worn by famous women which you can easily use as an inspiration for the creepiest night of the year.
If you decide to copy a celebrity, go for the ones who are recognizable and easy to copy. While today’s focus is on what famous women wore during previous Halloweens, we will also give you tips which fictional characters you could easily become for one night and how to spend little or no money while having a fantastic Halloween look. Let’s check out what some of the most recognizable faces wore, but also we would like to hear your predications for Halloween 2012 and which costumes you will wear. Use the comment section below!
The Shields Family
Leave it to Brooke Shields to create an outstanding dramatic look, which included her two children. As a big fan of the Addams Family, actress and model posed in front an Addams gravestone at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York. Blood red lips and a pale face with a tight and very long black dress is not a difficult look to create. Use baby powder to make your face vampire pale and make sure to wear a pair of crazy heels in black, of course.

Usually, it is Paris Hilton who is paparazzi’s favorite, but when Miss Nicky showed up as Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s, no one stood a chance. Even though this is not an original idea, it is all about presentation. Take your little black dress and revive the magic of Tiffany’s, making sure that your every move and every word is as chic and posh as Audrey Hepburn. This is a timeless and classic look, so wear it with respect and dignity.

Wonder Woman No. 1
Wonder woman’s costume is one of the most popular among celebrities. Megan Fox, Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian are just some of the girls who wore this costume. Being a superhero in a pair of hot pants and with all those glamorous details in gold makes any woman look powerful and naughty, but the best thing about this costume is that it is not hard to make it.
Pieces you can’t make yourself you can buy in target or on Amazon and they don’t have to be pricey. This is a perfect costume for women who aren’t afraid to flaunt their curves and Kim is probably number one on that list. Let’s not forget that last year she showed up as Poison Ivy, equally sexy and daring as she was in Wonder Woman’s costume.

Michelle Trachtenberg adores Halloween, so here she is, all dressed up as Marie Antoinette. Gossip Girl’s star looked fabulous as one of the most famous historical female figures, with all that big hair, feathers, and ruffles and gave it a modern twist. Instead of a ball gown, Michelle wore a short dress and with the perfect accessories. Maybe history is a good place to search inspiration for an original costume.

Regular cutie, Selena Gomez, didn’t try copying a celebrity or a fictional character: she used her own imagination and created a sweet little outfit, which doesn’t require much effort. The key item is silver shoes, but those colorful hair extensions and hot pink lipstick really made the outfit. Selena is effortlessly sexy and cool, so if you really want to be unique, follow your own instincts and just be yourself. Only a little scarier and little less casual.

When she is not posing as Victoria’s Secret angel or having a fabulous vacation with her husband, Orlando Bloom, and their son, Miranda Kerr is a circus ringmaster. At least, that was her choice for the party she organized for Halloween night last year. Unlike her former colleague, Heidi Klum, Miranda didn’t care about looking scary, but as sexy as a woman can be.
With a pair of fishnet tights, top hat and a little to no clothes, Kerr went back into 40’s but the most interesting was an accessory, a whip. Miranda rocked the black and white leotard, which fit her body perfectly, so the question is: are all ringmasters suppose to look like they fell from heaven?

Cruella de Gaga
Even though it seems like every day is Halloween for Lady Gaga, even she enjoys being someone else for a night. Fake blood, a famous coat and black lingerie turned Gaga into Disney villain Cruella de Vil. Gaga is always dedicated to her looks, so she wore a wig, in order to get more into Cruella’s character. Gaga also had a fake gun as part of her ensemble, but we are sure that no animals were harmed during her Halloween celebration.
