Here is LATAA’s Election announcement. “In 2012 we continued our volunteer work for our community in LATAA. We organized monthly social networking events, various concerts by local Turkish musicians, continued serving our children with our bi-monthly Turkish school, student outreach events, picnics, and lots of community support. We celebrated all Bayrams and other special days together. Now it is time for our Association to enlarge and develop with changes. We would like to see new faces in our Board as well as expressing our gratitude toward our esteemed senior directors.
As of today we have 4 open positions. The selected candidates will have the honor to be in our board who serves as the heart of our community as well as having special duties to improve themselves within our association. You may find voting and application details below.
Come to our general elections on Sunday, January 13th, 2013 to vote for the new LATAA Board of Directors for a fresh start to the year. ”
