NBA: 82-game regular season ends, playoffs to start

ANKARA (AA) – The regular season ended in the NBA after Wednesday night action as playoff matchups are set to begin on April 13.

The Milwaukee Bucks topped the Eastern Conference with 60 wins in the regular season, while the Golden State Warriors topped the Western Conference with 57 wins.

After Wednesday evening matches, the Detroit Pistons clinched the 8th seed in the East to be matched up against the Bucks.

Meanwhile, NBA legends Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks and Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat played their final matches as they announced their retirements.

For Dirk's final game — who scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds — the San Antonio Spurs prepared an appreciation video as fans chanted him to honor his career.

San Antonio won the match 105-94, they will be the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference to be matched up against No. 2 seed Denver Nuggets.

Dywane Wade notched a triple-double in his final career game with 25 points 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

The Brooklyn Nets won the match against the Miami Heat, locking up No. 6 seed to be matched up against No. 3 seed Philadelphia 76ers.
