The visit to the jointly organized exhibition by Anadolu Agency and the defense ministry occurred Friday after a ceremony at the defense ministry for March 18 Martyrs' Day.

Akar and commanders took a souvenir photo of the exhibition.

The exhibition, which includes 89 photographs from the beginning of the operation, will be presented to the citizens as well.

Since 2016, Turkey has conducted two major military operations in northwestern Syria — operations Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch — to purge the region of terrorist groups.
